Club Background

Founded in 1948, Kent Elms Tennis Club is located in Aviation Way, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS2 6UN (see contact us for a map). The club is owned by its members and features three floodlit tiger turf artificial grass tennis courts together with a large car park and a modern clubhouse.

The tennis club competes in the Leigh & Westcliff Tennis League where it runs ten summer teams and ten winter teams . Members can enjoy a high standard of social tennis along with several social functions held throughout the year.

Annual membership fees in 2012/13 are £215 for full members and £140 for off-peak members, which includes tennis balls and free unrestricted use of floodlights.

Although the club is small with just 74 members it is friendly, sociable and competitive together with having great facilities. Making it, we believe, one of the best clubs in the Leigh and Westcliff LTA.
